These Booking Conditions form an integral part of the Black City Cars Terms & Conditions and apply specifically to chauffeur services and reservations.
These Booking Conditions apply to all transportation services provided by Black City Cars, including airport transfers, point-to-point rides, hourly chauffeur services, long-distance trips, and special event transportation within Québec and beyond, including interprovincial and cross-border journeys.
All services are provided by reservation only and are subject to availability. Vehicle images are illustrative; the actual vehicle provided may vary based on availability and operational requirements.
Passengers must behave respectfully and comply with all safety instructions. Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Any damage, excessive soiling, or misuse of the vehicle will be charged to the client.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Under Québec regulations applicable to the taxi and limousine industry, limousine services are exempt from mandatory child seat requirements. Child or booster seats may be provided upon request and subject to availability.
When a child seat is provided, installation and proper use remain the sole responsibility of the client, even if assistance is offered.
Pets, oversized luggage, sports equipment, or special items must be declared at the time of booking. Acceptance is subject to vehicle capacity and chauffeur approval.
Each vehicle category has a maximum luggage capacity. Excess or oversized luggage may require vehicle reassignment or result in additional charges if not disclosed in advance.
Black City Cars monitors commercial flights in real time when a flight number is provided.
Complimentary waiting time includes:
Airport arrivals (YUL): 60 minutes after landing
FBO / private aviation: 15 minutes
Non-airport pickups: 15 minutes
Additional waiting time beyond the complimentary period is billed per minute at the applicable service rate.
Local services (≤100 km): Free cancellation up to 60 minutes before scheduled pickup
Long-distance services (>100 km): Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled pickup
Cross-border travel (Canada–USA): Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled pickup
Sprinter vans: Standard cancellation terms apply unless otherwise specified in writing
Formula 1 Grand Prix (Montréal): Special cancellation terms apply and are communicated at booking
Cancellations made outside the applicable window are charged 100% of the booking value.
Failure to meet the chauffeur within the complimentary waiting period without contact is considered a no-show and is charged in full.
Any changes to the itinerary must be communicated prior to pickup. Additional stops or route changes may result in additional charges based on time and distance.
Quoted rates are estimates based on the information provided at booking. Final billing may include:
Additional stops
Extended waiting time
Tolls and parking
Airport or regulatory fees
Fuel surcharges
After-hours service (23:00–07:00)
Statutory holidays
Deposits, when required, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Black City Cars is not responsible for delays caused by weather conditions, traffic, road closures, accidents, construction, customs, immigration, or border authorities. Such delays are billable as service time.
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. Black City Cars is not liable for lost or forgotten items. Clients assume financial responsibility for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their party.
Black City Cars reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if passenger behavior is unsafe, unlawful, or in violation of these Booking Conditions. No refund will be issued in such cases.
